Dr Daniel Judge is a Respiratory and sleep medicine physician. He is a graduate of the University of Queensland and completed his Respiratory and Sleep Fellowship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. He undertook fellowship training in Sleep Medicine and Respiratory Failure at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in Sydney.
Dr Judge is a clinical researcher in the field of sleep medicine, and is affiliated with the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, and the University of Sydney.
Dr Judge consults at the Cairns Hospital, Cairns Private Hospital, Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in Sydney. He also has an interest in tuberculosis in Cape York and the Torres Strait.
Having worked for several years in Far North Queensland and the Northern Territory, Dr Judge has extensive experience in Indigenous health and the delivery of service to rural and remote settings.
Dr Judge works closely with Dr Kerri Melehan PhD, a senior sleep scientist from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Kerri lectures in the Master of Sleep Medicine course at the University of Sydney. She is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, an Expert Somnologist Technologist and is the president of the Australasian Sleep Technologist Association.
Dr Judge offers comprehensive diagnostic services and the management of a range of sleep and breathing problems including obstructive sleep apnoea, snoring, insomnia, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and chronic cough from the Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital.
