Dr Clinton Colaco is an Infectious Diseases Physician with specialist interest in General and Acute Medicine. He completed his MBBS at Bond University, followed by a Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) at the University of Sydney. He completed physician training across Western and South-West Sydney hospitals. He currently works as a Staff Specialist in Acute Medicine at The Canberra Hospital, a post-graduate fellow in Advanced Therapeutics at Westmead Hospital, and as a Visiting Medical Officer/Consultant Physician in several private facilities across Sydney, Rockhampton and Canberra.
Dr Colaco is dedicated to delivering high quality, evidenced-based care to his patients, through effective communication, utilisation of available resources and compassionate patient care. He is involved in multiple local and international clinical trials and primary research. He is currently undertaking a PhD in the role and value of Telehealth Medicine through Central Queensland University.
He has a passion for teaching medical students and currently holds the title of Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Queensland, and Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He has been a passionate advocate for doctors-in-training for nine years through advocacy in various capacities through AVANT, the AMA and ASMOF.
He provides consultations both in person or via video telehealth.
