The Hillcrest Specialist Centre in Biloela was officially opened in September 2009 with the following specialists visiting to consult patients on a monthly basis:

• Dr Peter Day – General Surgeon
• Dr Mark Leyden – Gynaecologist
• Dr Wojciech Janus – Orthopaedic Surgeon

Monash IVF Rockhampton also visits Biloela throughout the year.

The Hillcrest Specialist Centre also accommodates visiting allied health professionals on a regular basis.

The benefits of the service allow the specialists to consult with patients from the Banana area in Biloela reducing travel and accommodation costs to and from Rockhampton.

The Specialists and Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital are very pleased with the success of this new venture and are committed to providing this valuable service to the region well into the future.
