Credentialing Process
Doctors seeking accreditation at the Hospital have several options.

If a you are accredited at another Ramsay facility and all paperwork is in order, please advise the Executive Officer on (07) 4932 1321 and arrangements can be made to access this information.
- Accreditation documentation is able to be downloaded directly, completed and faxed to us at 4932 1145.

- Alternatively you can contact the Executive Office on (07) 4932 1321 for this information to be forwarded to you by fax or mail.
Please note that your application will be able to be processed more promptly if you ensure that the following are included:
- Copy of current medical registration
- Copy of current medical indemnity insurance showing relevant specialty covered and expiry date
- Copy of CV
- Written references will be requested from the referees
Review of Credentialing Application

Upon receiving your completed application, the application will be reviewed by the CEO of Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital together with the Specialty Medical Advisory Committee representatives

At this point temporary accreditation may be granted for a short period of time

Supported applications are then referred to the Medical Advisory Credentialing Committee Meeting (held quarterly) for consideration

Upon endorsement by the Medical Advisory Committee, the doctor’s names and details are referred to the Ramsay Board for ratification
- A letter confirming Accreditation at Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital will then be forwarded to the doctor.
